Treatment Services

We have a wide range of treatment services that complement the core chiropractic and/or physiotherapy care plan to accelerate healing.

Spinal Disc Decompression

Spinal disc decompression (SDD) works by gently stretching the spine and its surrounding tissues. This stretch induces negative pressure in the vertebral joints and intervertebral discs (gel-like cushions between the bones in your spine), thereby creating space and relieving pressure from the nerves. The negative pressure also promotes movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the discs so they can heal.

SDD is most often integrated into a chiropractic or physiotherapy treatment plan.

High-powered intensive laser

High-powered Intensive Laser

Laser is special type of pure, concentrated light that can penetrate deep into the tissue, into each individual cell. The cell absorbs the laser light and transforms it into pure energy, just like plants transform sun light into energy through photosynthesis. This pure energy promotes cellular healing and decreases inflammation.

Laser therapy is used in combination with chiropractic and/or physiotherapy care to treat acute and chronic conditions e.g. neck and back pain, knee problems, or post-surgery recovery.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy introduces acoustic wave pulsation that carries high-energy sound waves to stimulate the body’s natural self-healing. The high-energy sound waves are applied directly to the site of injury to break down all the dysfunctional tissues. The energy is proven to promote regeneration and reparative of the tendons and soft tissues.

We use shockwave therapy in combination with chiropractic or physiotherapy care to treat chronic conditions, or conditions that continue to re-occur or conditions that have not responded well to traditional treatment methods e.g. tendinitis, knee osteoarthritis.

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy is sometimes referred to as cold therapy. It is best used to treat acute and inflamed injury, and works by significantly reducing the inflammation and swelling by temporarily reducing the blood flow and nerve activity of the affected area. Cryotherapy treatment delivers cold air as low as -30°C and keeps a constant dosage throughout the entire treatment time to enable effective penetration.

Ultrasound Therapy

Ultrasound therapy creates high-frequency sound waves that produce energy which can penetrate the skin to cause micro vibrations in the cells, stimulating blood circulation and cell activity, with the aim of reducing pain, swelling and inflammation, as well as speeding up healing after soft tissue injury.

Interferential Current (IFC) Therapy

Interferential Current (IFC) therapy works by sending small and continuous amounts of deep electrical stimulation to a targeted area. The intermittent pulses aid in blocking the pain signal, increasing the blood circulation and boosting our body's natural process in healing.
